Boehringer places phase 1 study of investigational drug on hold to examine ‘safety event’

Boehringer Ingelheim has suspended a phase 1 trial of an investigational small molecule drug while it seeks to understand a “safety event,” although the German pharma isn't shedding light on the nature of the incident for now.
